Meiro and CDPs: from scattered data to customer growth
What does a customer data platform solve, and how do Meiro Pipes, Audiences and Engage work together?
Published 26 September 2026Why another export is not enough
When purchases, website visits and campaign responses are separate, marketing may repeat generic or irrelevant offers. A Customer Data Platform helps assemble a usable picture from data that can legitimately be connected. It does not replace consent governance or every CRM and warehouse capability.
Meiro's three layers
Pipes ingests and prepares data and handles identity resolution. Audiences builds persistent profiles and segments. Engage uses audiences for activation and journeys in supported channels, including email, mobile push and WhatsApp subject to configuration. The primary aim is more relevant marketing, conversion and retention, rather than handling phone calls.
Illustrative example: a team identifies formerly frequent customers who have become inactive. Having reviewed permissions, it creates a retention audience and tests a suitable message. Results must be measured, not promised in advance.
What to check before starting
Identify source owners, identifier quality, the lawful basis for use and available activation channels. Not every anonymous visit can be assigned to a person. Hosting and pricing are designed to requirements; there is no one-size-fits-all configuration with guaranteed timings or outcomes.
